HQ, Camping and accommodation

Will be at The Dalesbridge www.dalesbridge.co.uk for caravans, campers and tents, with electric hook ups if required. B&B and cabins for sharing are on site. See the website for a full list of facilities. A bar  is available on site and on one evening there will be a subsidised meal for all pilots and guests. There is an excellent pub within walking distance in Austwick serving lunch and evening meals and pubs and a supermarket in nearby Settle. We will have full use of the free wifi and our HQ lecture room.

All camping and accommodation needs to be booked direct with The Dalesbridge via their website and BPCup organisers are not involved with the bookings. Please make sure you book early, preferably when you make your entry, as this is a commercial campsite and may be busy at this time of year. There will be a discount for pilots camping solo, make sure you request the discount code from BPCup admin admin@bpcup.co.uk before making your booking.

Transport

We will not be providing a minibus but will use the successful self-retrieve system as in previous years, asking pilots to double up in vehicles with comp funds contributing towards fuel costs. For retrieves of any distance, the comp funds will contribute towards taxi, bus and train fares but pilots are expected to negotiate fares with taxi drivers and fill taxis to capacity where at all possible. Our BPCup retrieve group on the widely used Telegram app helps the retrieve system to run smoothly and return pilots to HQ quickly.
